Restaurants

Leipzig has a vibrant pub and restaurant scene, with a wide variety of choices right in the city center. The most popular pub streets are Barfußgässchen just off the market square, and Gottschedstraße just west of the ring. A lot of alternative and student pubs can be found on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße.

Sightseeing

Various tour operators run public sightseeing tours on foot, by bus or tram several times per day.
German-speaking attendees are encouraged to check the following calendars and make individual appointments:

We have also organized tours for English-speaking attendees - please sign up for these at the ICSE information desk on the ground floor of the Westin Hotel, since space is limited. All tours take approximately two hours.

Leipzig hosts a multitude of cultural events throughout the year. Some suggestions:
